Turning Pages, the picture book autobiography by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is a New York Times Bestseller! Also released in a Spanish version titled Pasando Páginas, the title was selected as an Amazon Best Book of the Month: Nonfiction Children's Books for the month of September.
The art I spent months creating for the Justice's autobiography is now at the Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. The show will display preparatory materials along with the original art. It's beautifully curated and addresses the museum-goer in English and Spanish. Children will enjoy crafting paper boats with their written dreams for the future and pin them next to young Sonia's boat on one of the walls. The museum is free and the show runs from September 15, 2018, through February 17, 2019.
