NSK Neustadt Prize for Children's Literature Finalist Lulu Delacre has illustrated over forty books and is the author of most of them. She is a New York Times Bestselling artist and Pura Belpré Honoree. A proud Puerto Rican, her Latino heritage is at the center of her work.
