Dear friends,

I have good news to share. Alicia Afterimage, was not only selected as a 2009 Honor book by the Society of School Librarians International, but also made the Top 40 List of the Pennsylvania School Librarian Association.

In addition it was very recently featured in Becky Weinheimer's Blog.

I am also thrilled that The Storyteller's Candle was chosen to be a part of the Spirit of PaperTigers Project. PaperTigers, and initiative of the non profit group, Pacific Rim Voices, is donating a selection of books which reflect its aims, to children in areas of need in different parts of the world. A worthwhile endeavor!

In the many years that I have been illustrating children's books, I have created hundreds of pieces. Although some have found their way into museums, galleries, and private collections, I still have watercolors, oil paintings, and linoleum prints, in search of an art lover.
