In all school programs I stress the importance of keeping one's heritage and language. I explain how my Latino heritage has been a source of inspiration for my books. I can present in English or Spanish. A question and answer period is always included.

The equipment required varies according to the program.

Make sure the students are familiar with my work, not only will they anticipate the visit with enthusiasm, but will be able to ask meaningful
questions. Reading a picture book, or a couple of stories aloud to the class is an excellent preparation.

Fees and Charges

I presents up to four programs in one day.
Honorarium:
Rates vary according to distance.
A confirmation letter is required.
Arrange for payment on the day of the visit.
If an invoice or other paperwork is needed please contact me in advance so check can be prepared.
