Your Turn

Sometimes when I do workshops, or presentations, I encounter strangers that have been touched by a song in a book that brought them memories, or a story that reminded them of their country of origin.

At times teachers have noticed a child drawn to one of my books for reasons they can't really explain. If you are one of these people, share your story with others.

Books expand horizons, and sometimes they touch a child.

Aaron's new mask!

Hi,
I just wanted to share with you something that your book inspired. We borrowed your book Rafi and Rosi Carnival! from our local library and my 4 year old son decided he wanted to make the mask. It came out terrific and I wanted to share it with you. Thank you for the wonderful story. We live in Hawaii on the Big Island and we have many coquis over here. A lot of people want to get rid of them, but we enjoy their song.

Thank you again for the wonderful story,
Debbie McLean
